Bio: Pushing the boundaries of this ancient medium since 1984, Suzanne Punch has brought fine art sensibility to the interaction of dyes and resist on silk, opening new possibilities of painterly expression. Her work has been exhibited in the United States, England, and Japan in gallery, museum and private settings. Suzanne's commercial work has included prototypes and production for Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Theory, Blue Man Group and the NYC Ballet through DyeNamix Studio in Manhattan. She has taught workshops in 7 states across the country and Canada, including annually at the Mendocino Art Center. Suzanne is also a faculty member of the School of Visual Arts in NYC. In 2009, Suzanne was given the lifetime designation of Master Silk Painter by Silk Painters International.
