A Legacy of Excellence

Could You Be SPIN's Next Master Silk Artist?
If you are already creating confident, original silk work and you are a current SPIN member, this is your opportunity to earn the highest professional honor in our community. MSA recognition celebrates exceptional artistry, technique, and creative voice and it carries lifelong distinction.
Why MSA Matters
- MSA is a lifelong distinction recognizing mastery of silk, dyes, design, and color.
- You are encouraged to use MSA after your name in professional materials and public profiles.
- MSAs elevate the field through teaching, demonstrations, exhibits, and artist mentorship.
How Selection Works
- Deadline: January 31 each year.
- Review committee includes a SPIN member, an MSA member, and one independent professional artist.
- All applications and non-selected applicants remain confidential.
