SPIN Festival 2024

Overview and Classes

Registration opens May 4th, 11:00 AM Eastern 8:00 AM Pacific

We have many wonderfully - talented instructors. We know you will find classes you'll enjoy. Please join us! Registration will start on May 4th.

The Keynote Address - "On Stages, In Stages" presented by Author, Illustrator, Textile Artist and Costume Painter, Margaret Peot, will be about her experiences painting costumes for Broadway shows.

The call for art and fashion will be in late May, due in July.

Prices for the full week are $1270 for SPIN members and $1400 for non members. There are also options for those who can't attend the entire week. To join SPIN, please go to: https://www.silkpainters.org/membership-join.php

Yes! We will have "mini" workshops on Wednesday morning again this year, for an additional $65, including: How to Gallery Wrap your Canvas, The Marker Resist Method, Microwave Dyeing, Painted Edge Spiral Scarf and Using Your Boo Boo's and Scraps.

Pricing for Festival includes meals, two-2 day workshops, fashion show, art gallery show, keynote address, seminar, chapter night and much more! 

Your meals will be included, except lunch on Wednesday, but including pizza on Saturday evening the 28th for the weary travelers.

Accommodations will be available on campus and nearby hotels, see the accommodations page for details, you'll be able to reserve campus - housing starting May 6th through Arrowmont, (see accommodations page).

We will also have our golf cart "taxis" again this year to help you move around campus.
