PVC Frame
Authors: Annette Jonczyk

Materials needed33 feet of 1” PVC pipe , 4 elbow connectors, 8 T connectors, PVC pipe cutter, duct tape

Framecut pipe to desired lengths, then cut the two shorter lengths in half and connect those two halfs back together with a T connector. Lay out your frame on the floor and connect the corners with elbow connectors.

(Instead of having a solid piece of PVC pipe on each side you can “piece” each side together with shorter lengths connected with straight connectors. However you do need the T connector in the center of the shorter sides as this is where the frame will connect to the stand.)

Reinforce connections that will never have to be disconnected with duct tape.

Standfor one stand (you will make two of those) you need 1 piece PVC 36” long (or whatever length is comfortable for you) , 2 pieces 15” long ,and 4 pieces 7” long. Connect the 15” long pieces with a T connector and push the 36” piece into the third opening of this T connector . You now have built a large upside down T.

Now connect two 7” pieces with a T connector and push the third opening of this T connector onto the open end of a 15” piece. Do the same with the remaining 7” pieces. Reinforce all connections that never need to be disassembled with duct tape. You now have one stand.

Repeat the same procedure for a second stand.

Now take your frame and place it with the short sides on top of the two stands, pushing the T connector onto the open end of the 36” piece.

Voila! Frame with stand, light, portable and versatile.
